After wondering why the abstract phrase was so popular amongst PS owners, I decided to get Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition for the PC. I also found the aptly named "Devil May Cry" anime. The anime is placed after the DMC3 game according to storyline. Dante is still hardcore when it comes to slaying baddies but we see a totally different side of him, similar to the in-game movies.
Combining a good slash-n-beat-em-up against heavy metal music. Voice overs and sound effects of the characters are also cool yet redundant at times.
Combos are my satisfaction spot and most games in the past have a point where the combos break out completely, that sucks! I find Vergil a bit more exciting to use against the hordes of demons rather than individual ones. I prefer using Rebellion and anything depending on the enemy, for instance with tall or flying enemies, i can use Cerberus in air for a while then juggle with Rebellion. Or double frontal attack with Rebellion and Agni...
