Claymore is an excellent slasher/slayer anime featuring the main character Clair.
If you have spare bandwidth lying around, be sure to get checkout Eclipse for the HQ DVD-rips where possible & alternately the HQ H264 TV-rips, which are my preferred video format for PC with XviD at #2.
When it comes to media players, none is better than Media Player Classic! With Xvid, FFDShow & the MatroskaPack installed, practically all video formats are playable.
Matroska allows various styles of subtitles, a stream of any video format, multiple streams of audio formats (for dual-language/audio) and chapter support.
